shift*eight is a technological masterpiece; a convergence of many elements that create an all-round PBX solution. shift*eight uses standard PC hardware and software to create a PBX capable of processing and managing high call volumes with no loss to quality or performance.
shift*eight is powered by Asterisk; an open source software toolkit containing a multitude of PBX features and functions that can be integrated to produce a highly-functional PBX solution. Features can be activated at will and at no additional cost, because they are inherently part of the solution. What’s more is that should you require any additional functionality that is not part of the toolkit, Asterisk can be customised by our development team to add unique features at a fraction of the price of traditional PBX systems.
shift*eight is user-friendly through another software package called FreePBX. FreePBX is a graphical user interface that presents the functionality of the Asterisk software in a structured format. Shift*eight uses FreePBX to provide PBX administrators with an easy-to-use interface to customise or change any settings in the underlying Asterisk software. This means there is no need to call in outside PBX technicians every time a change or new feature is required, saving you time and money.
What is a PBX system without the capability to produce daily call reports? Surely every business should be able to assess the functioning of their PBX as well as the productivity of their staff? shift*eight incorporates Queuemetrics as an integral part of the solution. Queuemetrics is a centralized, simple and easy to use software package, that collects all call data stored away by the Asterisk software and converts it into easily understood reports. Reporting can be done on call volumes per department or per person, with or without time durations attached; the list of reports is endless. Queuemetrics also works brilliantly in a call centre environment, where reporting is vital in achieving SLAs. |
